Start by unbuttoning the tabs, then slide the strap to your preferred drop. Set it shorter for a shoulder carry that sits close without digging in, or extend it for a true crossbody fit that works comfortably across different body sizes and over both light layers and thicker winter coats.

Our bags are made with cowhide leather, which we treat with a custom polymer coating that enhances the color and provides a protective layer for durability. In addition to added durability, our coating provides a beautiful sheen so your bag can look newer for longer. Here are a few tips for caring for your AALLYN bag:

  • Keep bags out of direct heat or sunlight for prolonged periods. These elements will prematurely cause leather to dry out, crack or fade. 
  • Avoid water, but if your bag gets wet, pat it dry with paper towels and let it air dry. Do not apply heat.
  • Avoid contact with cosmetics, perfume, or anything that may transfer color.
  • To remove water or dirt from leather, wipe dry with a soft and clean cloth.
  • Moisturize the bag body with a leather conditioner lotion every few months or as necessary.
