Every AALLYN bag we design has every day, and every woman in mind. We don't like to rank our styles, and we don't build any of them for a single type of customer. Any woman can carry any bag in this collection. But most of us do gravitate toward one that feels like it already knows us, the way a good friend can predict your needs before you’ve said a word.

Jordan is the bag for those who want to carry a tote, but don't want to sign up for the overstimulation that is a large tote. We all know that tote that accidentally bumps into seated people on the bus, brushes a little too close to the glass items in a quiet boutique, or slides down sweater arms during the most stressful of days. Jordan is that tote you know has all the benefits of a tote, with a few extra pockets, and is the perfect structured shape for that extra peace of mind.

Eliana

Eliana is the friend who likes to carry her whole workday in one bag, without worry of walking around town with it later. She's carrying a laptop, a charger, maybe a tablet, and wants to make sure the bag looks inconspicuous. She isn't trying to be seen but she’s trying to get to the office, get through the day, and get home with her shoulder still intact.

Marley

Marley is perfect for the woman who doesn’t like purses but needs a purse. Two simple pockets, one easy strap, there is nothing to overthink, the bag is simple and easy to use. She gets better with wear, and is hard to scuff. It’s the bag that can be kicked under an airplane seat, caught in the rain, or thrown into the passenger seat. 

A personal note here, from me. I'm Leela, and I handle the digital side of things at AALLYN. Marley is my personal everyday bag. I was never a purse person; they always felt like one more thing to manage and protect, so I carried a nylon pouch for years. That worked fine until I started interviewing for jobs and realized a nylon pouch wasn't going to hold up at a nice dinner, not even a cute lunch. Marley was the bag I graduated to, because it never forced me to be more high maintenance than I actually am. Two pockets is enough for me to know exactly where all my small items live without ever overthinking too much about it. I have dropped this bag, thrown it, kicked it, scuffed it, and it somehow looks better now than the day I got it.
