Our Customers
From the very beginning, my work with handbags was shaped by real people and real conversations. Long before AALLYN existed, I spent years selling bags on Poshmark and eBay, eventually growing a community of nearly 400,000 followers. I became a trusted seller, and over time many customers came back again and again, relying on me not just to source great pieces but to help them choose what fit their lifestyle. That experience taught me that trust is built one interaction at a time, and that a brand is only as strong as the way it treats its customers. That lesson became one of the pillars of AALLYN.
When I started AALLYN, I held onto that standard. For the first four years, every single email, DM, and comment response was handled by me. I wanted to stay close to what customers were experiencing and make sure every person felt cared for. It mattered to me then, and it still matters now. Today, the person who leads our customer service brings that same mindset: she genuinely cares about making things right and supporting each customer with kindness and intention.
That foundation is why our approach to customer care is so personal. We try to show up the way I did in those early years, with intention, speed, and real care. We answer questions with honesty. We listen closely to what helps and what doesn’t.
Value is just as important to us as service. I want people to feel confident in what they’re buying, whether that comes from the practicality of our designs, the multiple ways to wear each bag, the extra accessories included, or the long-term versatility that makes each piece a go-to. A bag should feel like a thoughtful purchase, something that supports your life, not something you have to justify.
More than anything, I want our customers to feel seen and supported. These bags are meant to move with you, adapt to real life, and feel like a small source of ease and confidence in your day. That spirit is what I carried from Poshmark into AALLYN, and it will always be part of how we do business.
Our Team
Another piece of our ethos is the team of women who help bring AALLYN to life. Working with them is one of the things I am proudest of.
Sharon, my cousin and best friend, is someone I always hoped I would get to work with one day. Through AALLYN, she has the flexibility to work from home on a schedule that fits her life and lets her be there for her daughter.
Jordan joined right after having her son, during a season when focused work time was limited. This role fit into her life, not the other way around.
Tatiana, our longtime model, is a mother too. She has become part of our creative family and is a steady presence in our brand imagery.
Leela came into my life through LinkedIn and shared the same desire for freedom, alignment, and meaningful work. She built her own path as a digital nomad, and it felt natural to grow AALLYN with her.
And surrounding our core team is a group of talented freelancers and creators who share our values and help bring each part of the brand to life.
Each woman is building a life that works for her, and that matters deeply to me.
